DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage range check
  • Poor connector connection
  • Short to battery in signal circuit
  • IATS
Enable Condition
  • Normal auxiliary battery voltage (10 to 16V)
  • Coolant temperature reduced for 15s after engine start
  • Engine coolant temperature is greater than -30°C (-22°F)
Threshold Value
  • IAT voltage is greater than 4.93V
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuously
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
