DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage range check
  • Poor connector connection
  • Short to power in signal circuit
  • TPS
Enable Condition Case1
  • Ignition "ON"
Case2
  • Ignition "ON"
  • Acceleration pedal is not active (Not pushed)
  • TPS set point is less than 54%
  • TPS1 and TPS2 sensor not faulted
Threshold Value Case1
  • TPS1 voltage is greater than 4.9V
Case2
  • TPS1 voltage is greater than 3V at the engine idle
Diagnostic Time
  • 0.05s
MIL ON Condition
  • 1 driving cycle
