DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Transition time monitor (Rich to lean)
  • Poor connector connection
  • HO2S (bank1, sensor2)
  • ECM
Enable Condition
  • Normal auxiliary battery voltage (11 to 16V)
  • Oxygen sensor signal at entry into fuel cut off is greater than 0.6V
  • Modeled catalyst temperature is greater than 400°C (752°F)
  • Oxygen sensor internal resistance is less than 3000Ω
Threshold Value
  • Average of signal gradient is less than 1500mV/s
Diagnostic Time
  • 3 valid fuel cut-off phases (Once per driving cycle)
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
