DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Plausibility check during fuel cut off
  • Poor connector connection
  • HO2S (Bank1, Sensor1)
  • Faulty ECM
Enable Condition
  • Fuel cut off active is greater than 3s
  • Sensor ceramic temperature is greater than 640°C (1184°F)
  • Sensor forced stimulation active
  • Normal auxiliary battery voltage (11 to 16V)
  • Sensor operative readiness detected
Threshold Value
  • Upstream O2 sensor current is greater than 12mA or less than 1mA
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
