DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • CAN communication check
  • Poor connector connection
  • Faulty CAN communication line
  • CAN communication line between ECM and electronic water pump
  • Electronic water pump faulty
Enable Condition
  • Normal auxiliary battery voltage (9 to 16V)
  • Time after Ignition "ON" is greater than 0.5s
Threshold Value
  • Wrong messages received by electronic water pump is greater than 0.4s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
