DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Electrical check
  • Open in signal harness
  • Open in ground harness
  • Poor connection or damaged harness
  • Faulty Heated O2 Sensor (HO2S)
Enable Conditions
  • O2 Sensor operative readiness is detected. Sensor element resistance is lower than 1kΩ or heater maximum heating or normal heating for more than 75s)
  • Battery voltage is between 10V and 16V
Threshold Value
  • Downstream O2 Sensor element resistance is higher than 22.5kΩ
  • Open circuit
Diagnostic Time
  • 2.5s
Mil On Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
