Repair Procedures: Installation

Install the shift cable retainer (A) by tightening nuts.
Tightening torque:

11.8 - 14.7 N.m (1.2 - 1.5 kgf.m, 8.7 - 10.8 lb.ft)

Insert "N range fixing pin" (A) of shift lever after checking the shift lever and manual control lever are on "N" range.

Install the shift cable to the lever pin and then insert the snap pin (A).

NOTE: Mind the installation direction of snap pin.

Tighten the nut (B) to the specified torque after removing free play by pushing the shift cable (A) in the direction of the arrow.

Tightening torque:

9.8 - 13.7 N.m (1.0 - 1.4 kgf.m, 7.2 - 10.1 lb.ft)

NOTE: The existing shift cable clip must be replaced with new one. (Do not reuse it.)

Remove the N range fixing pin (A).

Install the air duct (A) by tightening the screws.

Install the floor console assembly.

Install the battery and battery tray.
(Refer to Engine Electrical System - "BATTERY ")
Install the air cleaner assembly.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "AIR CLEANER ")
