Repair Procedures: Removal

Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
(Refer to Engine Electrical System - "AUXILIARY BATTERY ")
Remove the accelerator pedal module (A) by removing the bolt and nut after removing the mounting caps.
Tightening torque :

8.9 - 13.7 N.m (0.9 - 1.4 kgf.m, 6.5 - 10.1 lb.ft))

Disconnect the accelerator pedal connector (B) from the accelerator pedal (A).
