Component Inspection

  1. Engine "ON" (Warm up condition).
 HO2S (Bank1, Sensor1) connector 1 (nernst voltage) HO2S (Bank1, Sensor1) connector 3 (virtual ground) Fig. 1
HO2S (Bank1, Sensor1) connector 4 (trim resistor) HO2S (Bank1, Sensor1) connector 6 (pumping current)

Good 

  1. Go to "Verification of Repair " procedure.

No Good 

  1. Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
  2. If no problems were found with the circuits or connectors, replace the HO2S (Bank1, Sensor1) and go to "Verification of Repair " procedure.
