Component Inspection

Inspection Condition Inspection Procedure Reference
  1. Engine "ON".
  1. Connect KDS to "Data Link Connector (DLC)".
  2. Perform "Actuation Test" of concerned component with KDS.

Good 

  1. Go to "Inspect HO2S (Bank1, Sensor2) Heater" procedure.

No Good 

  1. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Repair " procedure.
Inspect HO2S (Bank1, Sensor2) Heater
Inspection Condition (+) Probe (-) Probe Specification
Connector Terminal Connector Terminal
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect HO2S (Bank1, Sensor2) connector.
 HO2S (Bank1, Sensor2) heater (component side) 3 (power) HO2S (Bank1, Sensor2) heater (component side) 4 (heater) Approx. 9.0Ω (20°C (68°F))

Good 

  1. Go to "Verification of Repair " procedure.

No Good 

  1. Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
  2. If no problems were found with the circuits or connectors, replace the HO2S (Bank1, Sensor2) and go to "Verification of Repair " procedure.
