DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Plausibility check between TPS1 and TPS2
  • Poor connection
  • Open or short in TPS circuit
  • Faulty TPS
  • Faulty ECM
Enable Condition
  • Engine speed during engine start is faster than 640 to 960RPM
  • No TPS adoption request
  • Ignition switch is "ON" condition
Threshold Value
  • An absolute value of TPS2 is 8% greater than TPS1
Diagnostic Time
  • 0.3s
MIL ON Condition
  • 1 driving cycle
