DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Evaluate HO2S heater performance.
  • Related fuse blown or missing
  • Heater control circuit open or short
  • Power supply circuit open or short
  • Poor connection or damaged harness
  • Faulty HO2S
Enable Condition
  • Upstream HO2S normal heating time is more than 1s
  • Battery voltage is between 11V and 16V
Threshold Value
  • Upstream HO2S tip temperature is lower than 670°C (1238°F)
Diagnostic Time
  • 20s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
