DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Electrical check
  • Related fuse blown or missing
  • Short to ground in power supply or control harness
  • Poor connection or damaged harness
  • Faulty HO2S (Bank1, Sensor2)
  • ECM
Enable Condition
  • Engine running (Engine speed is greater than 32RPM)
  • Exhaust gas temperature (model) is higher than 400°C (752°F)
  • Battery voltage between 10V and 16V
Threshold Value
  • Short to ground
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
