Removal & Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal and the service interlock connector.

    (Refer to REMOVAL & INSTALLATION - 2WD

    (Refer to REMOVAL & INSTALLATION - 4WD

  2. Remove the front wheel and tires.

    (Refer to Suspension System - "WHEEL ")

  3. Separate the front dust cover (A) after removing the fastener.

  4. Disconnect the front wheel speed sensor connector (A).

  5. Remove the front wheel speed sensor bracket (A) after removing the bolt.

    Tightening torque: 

    19.6 - 29.4 N.m (2.0 - 3.0 kgf.m, 14.5 - 21.7 lb.ft)

  6. Separate the front wheel speed sensor harness (A) from the brake hose bracket.

  7. Remove the front wheel speed sensor.
    1. Disconnect the front wheel speed sensor connector (A). [2WD]

    2. Remove the front wheel speed sensor (A) after removing the bolt. [4WD] 

    Tightening torque: 

    8.8 - 13.7 N.m (0.9 - 1.4 kgf.m, 6.5 - 10.1 lb.ft)
