Removal And Installation
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- Release the residual pressure in fuel line.
(Refer to Fuel Delivery System - "RELEASE RESIDUAL PRESSURE IN FUEL LINE ")
- Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
- Remove the intake manifold.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "INTAKE MANIFOLD ")
- Remove the injector foam (A).
- Disconnect the rail pressure sensor connector (A), and then remove the sensor (B) from the delivery pipe.
Rail Pressure Sensor:
30.0 - 35.0 Nm (3.0 - 3.6 kgf.m, 22.1 - 25.8 lb.ft)
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
NOTE:
- Install the Rail Pressure Sensor (RPS) to the specified torque.
- If the RPS is dropped, it may cause internal damage. (Do not reuse)
