DTC Description

The PCM monitors internal calibration time; when the PCM indicates an error in the internal PCM engine off timer processor, the PCM sets DTC P261000.

The test fails when the difference between the engine off time and the Low Power Counter (LPC) time exceeds a calibrated limit for a calibrated amount of time.
