DTC U0122-87: Lost Communication With Vehicle Dynamics Control Module: General Description

The main features of CAN (Controller Area Network) bus system are:

• A data -Transfer rate up to 1 Mbit/s for the High-Speed CAN and up to 125 kbit/s for the Low-Speed CAN.
• Signals are broadcast in both directions
• The Multi-master principle.
• High availability by locating failed control units.
• Standardization in accordance with ISO 11898.

The CAN communication is one of the vehicle communication method, which is now widely used to transfer data to each control units in the vehicle.

The vehicle electronic control requires many information from each module to reduce exhaust and increase convenience/safety for optimum vehicle control.
