Removal & Installation: Removal

  1. Release the residual pressure in fuel line.

    (Refer to Fuel Delivery System - "RELEASE RESIDUAL PRESSURE IN FUEL LINE ")

  2. Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
  3. Fold the rear seat back assembly (A) in the direction of the arrow.

  4. Move the rear seat assembly (A) forward as far as possible in the direction of the arrow.

  5. Cut the cover along the line (A).

  6. Remove the fuel pump service cover (A) after removing the screws.

  7. Separate and disconnect the connectors.
    1. Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor (FTPS) connector
    2. Fuel Pressure Sensor (FPS) connector
    3. Fuel feed tube quick-connector
    4. Fuel Pump Control Module (FPCM) connector

  8. Remove the fuel pump plate cover (A) with SST (09310 - B8100).

  9. Remove the fuel pump module (A).
