DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Evaluate O2 sensor element temperature via measuring element resistance
  • Poor connector connection
  • Faulty related fuse
  • Open/Short in power circuit
  • Open/Short in control circuit
  • Faulty downstream O2 sensor
Enable Condition
  • Downstream O2 sensor normal heating time is greater than 58s
  • Engine off duration is higher than 60 minutes
  • Battery voltage at between 10V and 16V
Threshold Value
  • Downstream O2 sensor resistance is higher than 1kΩ
Diagnostic Time
  • 20s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
