DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage range check
  • Poor connections
  • Short to battery in signal circuit
  • Open in ground circuit
  • Faulty MAPS
  • Faulty ECM
Enable Condition
  • Battery voltage is between 6V and 16V
Threshold Value
  • MAP signal voltage is greater than 4.8V
  • MAP signal represents short to battery
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
