DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Electrical check
  • Short to battery or open in signal circuit
  • Poor connection or damaged harness
  • Faulty Fuel Level Sender
Enable Condition
  • Delay time when failure present: 2000s
Threshold Value
  • Fuel tank level signal is greater than 4.99V
  • Short circuit to battery
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
