DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitor engine misfire
  • Poor connector connection
  • Valve timing
  • Fuel pressure system
  • Contamination fuel
  • Leakage air
  • Ignition system
  • Injector
  • Bad quality fuel
  • Cooling system
  • Intake/exhaust system
Enable Conditions
  • Engine speed is between 550 and 6500 RPM
  • Engine torque is higher than zero torque
  • Time after engine start is higher than 0s
  • ECT is higher than 21°C (69.8°F) or higher than -7.5°C (18.5°F) in that ECT at start is lower than -7°C (19.4°F) at engine start
  • No rough road detection (Wheel speed (30 and 40m/s2) in rough road)
  • Fuel system status is no fuel cut-off
  • TPS error is not detected
  • CKPS error is not detected
