Position Switch: Removal

Place the shift lever in the 'N' position.
NOTE: Use wheel chocks to prevent vehicle from moving accidentally.
Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
Remove the air cleaner assembly.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - " AIR CLEANER REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ")
Disconnect the position switch connector (A).

Remove the shift cable by removing the nut (A).

Remove the manual control lever (A) and the washer after removing the nut.
