DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Signal check, low (TPS2)
  • Poor connector connection
  • Open in power circuit/short to ground
  • Signal circuit short to ground
  • TPS
  • PCM
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition "ON" or Engine idle
Threshold Value
  • TPS2 voltage is lower than 0.1V
  • TPS2 voltage is lower than 2.0V at idle
Diagnostic Time
  • 0.05s
MIL ON Condition
  • 1 driving cycle
