Checking & Adding Fluid
WARNING:
Clean reservoir body and filler cap before removing cap. Use only fluid from a sealed container. Do not over fill reservoir
- Park vehicle on level ground.
- Turn ignition ON, to activate hydraulic pump. If pump does not activate, depress brake pedal several times until pump operates.
- When pump stops, check that level is between "MIN" and "MAX" marks.
- If level is below "MIN" mark top up fluid level to "MAX" mark on reservoir, using brake fluid with a minimum boiling point of 500°F (250°C) that complies with FMVSS/116/DOT-4.
