Cruise Control Cassette Centralize

On vehicles with cruise control the cruise control cassette is centralized using the following procedure.

1. Hold spiral cassette with steering wheel location pegs facing forward. See Fig 1 .
2. Hold lower half of cassette.
3. Rotate upper half counterclockwise as far as tape will allow.
4. Rotate the upper half of the cassette approximately 1/2 turn clockwise until holes in the cassette upper and lower halves are aligned. Item A in Fig 2 , shows 2 holes aligned with holes in lower half, vehicles before VIN 452004. Item B Fig 2 , shows one hole aligned with hole in lower half, vehicles after VIN 452004.
