The disc-type clutch uses a diaphragm spring to engage the pressure plate. A hydraulically-operated release system, consisting of a master cylinder, hydraulic damper and slave cylinder, operates a lever connected to a release bearing. To identify clutch components refer to illustration. See Fig 1 .
