Pre-Advanced EVAP System: Notes
CAUTION:
Use only nitrogen gas to pressurize EVAP system. Compressed air can only be used to pressurize an EVAP system and fuel tank that has NEVER contained fuel. When compressed air and fuel vapors are mixed, they become highly volatile.
NOTE:
The following pressure test procedure is intended to provide a method for ensuring that the EVAP system does not leak excessively and that it will effectively control evaporative emissions.
