Gear Position Switch
- Shift transmission into Park. Raise and support vehicle. Remove shift lever from selector shaft at transmission. Loosen gear position switch nut and bolt. Rotate selector shaft fully clockwise. Rotate selector shaft counterclockwise 2 detents to Neutral. See Fig 2
.
- Install Switch Adjuster (LRT-44-011) to selector shaft. See Fig 3
. Position pin into switch adjuster. Rotate switch until pin engages hole in gear position switch. Tighten gear position switch retaining nut and bolt. Remove switch adjuster. Rotate selector shaft clockwise 2 detents to Park. Install shift lever on selector shaft, and tighten nut.
