Removal & Installation

  1. Disconnect battery negative lead.
  2. Remove drivers side front seat for access. See PASSENGER'S SEAT ASSEMBLY  .
  3. Remove 2 screws securing heater rear outlet duct. Remove duct. See Fig 1 .
  4. Release carpet over BECM. Position aside.
  5. Remove 2 nuts and screw securing BECM to mounting. See Fig 1 .
  6. Disconnect multiplugs from BECM. See Fig 1 .
  7. Release terminal covers.
  8. Disconnect 1 earth and 3 feed wires. See Fig 1 .
  9. Remove BECM. See Fig 1 .
  10. To install, reverse removal procedure.
