Wheel Alignment Procedures: Adjust
- Slacken track rod adjuster clamping nuts and bolts. See Fig 1.
- Rotate adjuster to give correct alignment.
- Roll vehicle backwards and forwards to relieve stresses in steering/front suspension.
- Recheck front wheel alignment, taking average of three readings.
- Repeat procedure as necessary to obtain correct alignment.
- Tighten track rod adjuster fixings to 8mm, 22Nm (16 ft. lbs.), 10mm, 47Nm, (35 ft. lbs.).
