Possible Causes:

  1. Connector MS43 ECM C331, Cooling fan controller unit C1680.
  2. Open circuit C331/4 (UW) - C1680/1 (UW).
  3. Short circuit C331/4 (UW) - Ground.
  4. Cooling fan controller unit.
  5. MS43 ECM.
  1. Connector MS43 ECM C331, Cooling fan controller unit C1680. 

    CONNECTOR

    Check for connector not correctly latched, backed out pins, damaged pins, corroded pins

  2. Open circuit C331/4 (UW) - C1680/1 (UW). 

    OPEN_CIRCUIT

    Check resistance > 1M&!

  3. Short circuit C331/4 (UW) - Ground. 

    SHORT_CIRCUIT

    Check resistance < 5.0&!

  4. Cooling fan controller unit.
