Possible Causes:

  1. Open Circuit C243/4(R) to C932/21(R).
  2. Open Circuit C243/3(B) to C932/20(KB).
  3. Short Circuit C243/4(R) to Ground or Battery.
  4. Short Circuit C243/3(B) to Ground or Battery.
  5. Connectors C243,C932.
  6. Intermediate speed sensor.
  7. JATCO ATCU ECU.
  1. Open Circuit C243/4(R) to C932/21(R). 

    OPEN_CIRCUIT

    Check resistance > 1M&!

  2. Open Circuit C243/3(B) to C932/20(KB). 

    OPEN_CIRCUIT

    Check resistance > 1M&!

  3. Short Circuit C243/4(R) to Ground or Battery. 

    SHORT_CIRCUIT

    Check resistance < 5.0&!

  4. Short Circuit C243/3(B) to Ground or Battery. 

    SHORT_CIRCUIT

    Check resistance < 5.0&!

  5. Connectors C243,C932. 

    CONNECTOR

    Check for connector not correctly latched, backed out pins, damaged pins, corroded pins

  6. Intermediate speed sensor. 

    If the vehicle speed exceeds 25mph (40kph) while the Intermediate sensor reads less than 600rpm then, after a period of two seconds, an 'Intermediate Sensor Failure' fault is reported.

  7. JATCO ATCU ECU.
