DTC P053F-24: Cold Start Fuel Pressure Performance - Signal stuck high: Action
- Refer to the relevant service information and the BATTERY & CHARGING SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION -- LR2/L359 , inspect the vehicle battery and ensure it is fully charged and serviceable before performing further tests.
- Check for fuel supply at both fuel pumps
- Using the manufacturer approved diagnostic system carry out fuel prime routine
- Using the manufacturer approved diagnostic system check engine control module for related DTCs and refer to the relevant DTC index. Clear the DTC and retest the system
- Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagrams and check the fuel rail pressure sensor circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance
