DTC B1316-02: Boot/Trunk Latch Power Close Unit - General signal failure: Action
- Check the tailgate latch for mechanical blockages
- Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagrams and check the tailgate soft close actuator signal circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance
- Install a new tailgate soft close actuator as necessary
- Install a new tailgate control module as necessary
