DTC P0744-68: Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid Circuit Intermittent - Event Information: Action
NOTE:
- Pressure control solenoid resistance specification is 5.0 to 5.6 ohms at 20°C.
- Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagram and check the pressure control solenoid circuits for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Refer to Pinpoint Test E in the automatic transmission Diagnosis and Testing section of the service information and proceed as directed
- Using the manufacturer approved diagnostic system, clear the DTCs and retest. If the fault persists, install a new torque converter
- Using the manufacturer approved diagnostic system, clear the DTCs and retest. If the fault persists, install a new transmission control module
- Using the manufacturer approved diagnostic system, clear the DTCs and retest. If the fault persists, install a new automatic transmission
