Possible Causes
- Loss of communications to instrument cluster
- Loss of communications between the central junction box and instrument cluster
- Instrument cluster has received invalid data from the central junction box
- Connector is disconnected, connector pin is backed out, connector pin corrosion
- Fuel level sensor circuit, short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance
- Fuel level sensor failure
