DTC P0116-22: Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor 1 Circuit Range/Performance - Signal amplitude > maximum: Action
- Inspect connectors for signs of water ingress, and pins for damage and/or corrosion
- Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagrams and check engine coolant temperature sensor circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance
- Clear the DTCs and retest
- Check and install new engine coolant temperature sensor as required
