Actual ignition timing different to ignition timing requested for catalyst heating; stationary idle
- The engine control module has detected that the actual ignition timing is different to that requested for optimal catalyst heating
- Intake air system leakage
- Intake air system components incorrectly installed, loose or damaged pipework
- Engine crankcase breather system leakage
- Engine crankcase breather system components incorrectly installed
- Engine vacuum system leak
- Brake booster leak
- Engine speed error
- Incorrect accessory loading
- Engine misfire
