DTC P0512-14: Starter Request Circuit - Circuit short to ground or open: Action
NOTE:
Monitor description.
The engine control module checks that the hard wired crank request from the body control module matches the powermode CAN signal
- Inspect connectors for signs of water ingress, and pins for damage and/or corrosion
- Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagrams and check starter request circuit for open circuit, short circuit to ground
- Clear the DTCs and retest
