DTC B1DE9-49: Clear Exit Detection System LED Unit - Internal Electronic Failure: Action

NOTE: For each testing/operation make sure nothing is obstructing view of the radar modules (Which are in the rear bumper) and car has been driven for 30 sec and stays in Ignition ON

Make sure the ignition is turned OFF, disconnect & reconnect the clear exit detection LED unit, close the door, lock the door with the smart key, wait 1 minute, unlock door with smart key, check if the DTC is set as deactivated and check operation of the status LED. If the status LED illuminates correctly then using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the DTCs and retest
If the LEDs are not working after performing step 1, make sure the Ignition is turned OFF, disconnect & reconnect the clear exit detection LED unit. Unlock door with the smart key, wait 1 minute, open the door check if the DTC is set as deactivated and check operation of the status LED. If the status LED illuminates correctly then using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the DTCs and retest
If the LEDs are not working after performing steps 1 & 2, the LEDs are faulty. Make sure the ignition is turned OFF, remove & replace the clear exit detection LED unit, assembly including LED unit. Close the rear door, lock the door with the smart key, wait 1 minute, unlock the door with the smart key. Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the DTCs and retest
