DTC P0810-04: Clutch Position Control Error - System internal failures: Action
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, select the DTC-associated Guided Diagnostics to perform a Learn Clutch Open and Close Point calibration. The Guided Diagnostics will subsequently test the system and report a DTC if a fault persists
- If the fault persists, refer to the appropriate system wiring diagrams and check the security and integrity of the transfer case control module and high/low range position sensor connectors and rectify as required. Check the transfer case control module circuits for open circuit, high resistance. Repair circuit as required, clear DTC and retest
- Start the engine and, using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear DTC and retest. If the fault persists, install and configure a new high/low range position sensor. Refer to the High/Low Range Position Sensor Replacement Application instructions in the relevant Diagnosis and Testing Section

- If the fault persists, install a new transfer case control module and configure as a new module. Refer to the Transfer Case Control Module Replacement Application instructions in the relevant Diagnosis and Testing Section

Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the DTCs and retest
- If the fault persists, contact Dealer Technical Support to seek approval for replacement of the transfer case prior to exchanging the unit.NOTE: The transfer case is supplied with a TCCM already fitted and calibrated. Thus, there is no calibration work necessary. Refer to the Transfer Case Replacement Application instructions in the relevant Diagnosis and Testing Section
