DTC P0720-12: Output Shaft Speed Sensor Circuit - Circuit short to battery: Action

NOTE: After installing a new transmission control module, perform routines - Configure New Module (Without Transmission Replacement), Transmission Control Module Adaption.

Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check datalogger signal - Transmission Output Shaft Speed (0x1E68). Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the output shaft speed sensor circuit for short circuit to power. Repair the wiring harness or install a new sensor unit as necessary
Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the DTCs and retest. If the fault persists, install a new transmission control module
