Possible Causes
- The powertrain control module detected an internal temperature above the expected range
- Connector is disconnected, connector pin is backed out, connector pin corrosion
- Active grille air shutter circuit, short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance
- Active grille air shutter unable to move due to obstruction
- Active grille air shutter failure
