DTC U0442-82: Invalid Data Received From ECM/PCM "B" - Invalid serial data received: Action

NOTE: This is not an anti-lock brake system control module issue. The data source module has sent information which it has marked as Invalid.

Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the powertrain control module and the anti-lock brake system control module are connected to the FlexRay bus correctly. Check the FlexRay bus circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Check connectors for water ingress and backed out pins. Repair as necessary
Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check the powertrain control module for related DTCs and refer to the relevant DTC index
