Interactive Control Display Module
The Interactive Control Display Module (ICDM) is located in the centre of the Instrument Panel (IP) below the Interactive Display Module A (IDMA)
The ICDM interacts with various systems on the vehicle.
The ICDM data is transmitted via the High Speed (HS) Controller Area Network (CAN) comfort systems bus to the Body Control Module/Gateway Module (BCM/GWM) assembly. This data is then transmitted from the BCM/GWM assembly via the FlexRay bus to the Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) control module.
The touch screen changes according to the control required. It has four areas to adjust, these are:
- Settings
- Vehicle
- Seats
- Climate .
The Vehicle screen contain the control for the All Terrain Progress Control (ATPC). This turns the ATPC on and off.
The lower part of the ICDM has four touch switches for these system:
- MAX A/C : Maximum Air Conditioning (A/C).
- MAX Windshield defrost: Directs all the air flow to the windshield and front side windows to decrease the time to defrost the vehicle.
- Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) OFF : Set DCS off and on.
- Hill Descent Control (HDC): Set the HDC system on and off.
