Adaptive Speed Control Module (G2268885): Removal
WARNING:
The customer must be informed that in the first 2 hours of driving, the Cruise Control Module (CCM) will continue to self calibrate. CCM
may not be available and full system performance may not be achieved.
CAUTION:
- Make sure that there is no modification on the CCM before its installation to the vehicle.
- The CCM assembly must not be disassembled or pre-adjusted before installation.
- If accidentally dropped to the ground, the CCM must not be installed.
- The CCM must be handled carefully as damage may cause water ingress into the module.
- The CCM is equipped with a pressure equalization membrane located under the type label. Damage can affect the water tightness of the module.
NOTE:
- This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending on the vehicle specification, but the essential information is always correct.
- This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.
- Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.

- Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.
Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT
- Remove the front bumper cover.
- Disconnect the CCM electrical connector.
- Reposition the wiring harness away from the CCM .
- Release the 3 clips.
- Remove the CCM from the bracket.
