- Vehicle Conditions to Enable DTC Logging Strategy
- Ignition On, Engine running
- Check powertrain control module for additional Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and refer to relevant DTC index. Rectify these first
- Inspect connectors for signs of water ingress and pins for damage and/or corrosion
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the power and ground connections to the module
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check connections are secure and wiring integrity for coolant temperature sensor and ambient temperature sensor
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and retest
