DTC P0106-62: Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Sensor Circuit Range/Performance - Signal compare failure: Action
- Prioritized Checks to Perform
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the manifold absolute pressure and temperature sensor circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Check the electrical connectors for evidence of water ingress. Check the terminals for damage and corrosion. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
- Install new manifold absolute pressure and temperature sensor
- Check the condition of the air filter. Install a new air filter as necessary
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved high pressure diagnostic leak detector, check the intake system for leaks. Rectify as necessary
- Check the positive crankcase ventilation system for leaks. Rectify as necessary
- Check the throttle body for obstructions. Rectify as necessary
- Check the exhaust system for restrictions and blockages. Rectify as necessary
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, run application - ECU Diagnostics/Powertrain Control Module (PCM)/Clear Diagnostic Trouble Code(s). Retest
