- Prioritized Checks to Perform
- Refer to electrical circuit diagrams and check the flex fuel sensor circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Check the electrical connectors for evidence of water ingress. Check the terminals for damage and corrosion. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
- Drain off the contaminated fuel. Install a new flex fuel filter element as necessary and replace the contaminated fuel. Check the fuel filler cap seal for wear or damage. Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, run application - ECU Diagnostics/Powertrain Control Module (PCM)/Clear Diagnostic Trouble Code(s). Retest
